The Mac turns 25 today …
Despite the fact that I’m bi-platform (HP PC desktop, MacBook Pro laptop), I do so love the Mac.
And today, January 24, marks the 25th anniversary of the introduction of the Macintosh.
While I’ve owned a handful of Macs through the years (MacPlus, SE-30, LC II, Perform 6250, Motorola clone, iBook G3 and the current MacBook Pro) — and still have most them squirreled away in closets — I can’t possibly measure up to this dude’s collection.

The Moment
A cool “synth” photo here, on CNN’s web site, of the moment of President Barack Obama’s swearing-in as the 44th President of the United States. The photo uses Microsoft’s Photosynth technology, which creates 3D spaces from anyone’s 2D photos.
